Keith Semerod began his career in 1978 working in community-based outpatient mental health services after completing his Bachelor of Science in Individual and Family Studies at Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Semerod earned his Masters Degree in Social Work from Marywood University in 1987, then became licensed as a clinical social worker by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors. Mr. Semerod served as a deputy administrator at the Schuylkill County MH/DS for fifteen years, and prior to that, he was employed as the Program Administrator of the Mental Health Unit at the State Correctional Institute (SCI) at Frackville, providing supervision and therapeutic inpatient services. Mr. Semerod joined the Counseling Associates of Schuylkill County in 2019.
