Melinda Spolski, LPC holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Therapy from Chestnut Hill College. She is an active member of the American College Counseling Association and has been practicing psychotherapy for over thirty years. Currently, Ms. Spolski holds the position of Coordinator of Counseling and Psychological Services and Student Disability Resources for The Pennsylvania State University – Schuylkill Campus, where she has been employed for twenty-five years. She is additionally adjunct faculty for Penn State – Schuylkill, Penn State – Berks, Alvernia University, and Albright College. Ms. Spolski’s expertise lies in counseling victims of sexual abuse, sexual assault, trauma, and in treating patients with anxiety disorders. She is trained in and utilizes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Ms. Spolski’s theoretical approach is predominantly cognitive-behavioral.
